Meet the Prospective Pastor
Your search committee is bringing a candidate for pastor for your consideration next weekend, May 16-18. Please make plans now to attend an event to personally meet and get to know him and his family.
We had the opportunity to meet him and his wife a few weeks ago and had a wonderful visit. The committee is very impressed with the way he has responded to all of our questions. He is thoughtful and shows a great deal of maturity in his answers. He and his wife both have a very sweet nature, are genuine, and very easy to get to know. We look forward to meeting their daughter as well, who will be entering 6th grade next year.
They have served the Lord in ministry over the past 25 years. He has lead three churches as Senior Pastor over the last 18 years. He has been in his current church since 2003, seeing growth both numerically and spiritually.
We are very excited to see how the Lord will use them at Ozark Baptist, if it be His will. Please continue to pray for our church and our next pastor daily at 9:15. Our special business meeting will be Sunday, May 18th at 6:00 to vote on whether to call him as our next pastor. Please make plans to be there to show your support.
